We are so excited to introduce this very special campaign, over the next 2 weeks (Monday 8th October — Sunday 21st October) we will be encouraging our customers to trade in a bra to charity and they will receive 20% off their new BNT bra purchase.
This is a great opportunity for us to get all those ladies donating bras, into our fitting rooms and fitted in their new BNT bra. To receive the 20% off, our Customer must be fitted. The donatable bras don’t have to be BNT bras, we will be accepting any bras that have been worn slightly.
South Africa Charity Bras donated will be going to support Kopanang in the township of Tsakane. The Co-operative is a registered NFP Trust in South Africa with a governing board accountable to the South African government.
While there are 70 women in the Co-operative itself, they are connected to many other women in the townships of Brakpan. Tsakane is a township located in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, Gauteng, East Rand, South Africa. It was established during the early 1960s due to the segregation movement and was formally founded as a designated area.
The word Tsakane itself refers/means ‘Happiness, Joy’. Tsakane is one of the townships which has the least development due to its status and informal nature of its economy. Tsakane has slow stages in terms of economic growth. For example, there is lack of resources (water, toilets). There is a range of housing in Tsakane. Residences range from bricks and mortar housing to shacks.
All daughters and sisters will appreciate the bras very much as they live in poverty and struggle at times to feed themselves, let alone buy luxuries like new bras.
